Our Fleet/Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for diagnosing/repairing mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle issues along with servicing/maintaining vehicles in an efficient manner to meet fleet needs. In addition, our Fleet/Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for repairing warehouse equipment and working with outside vendors to outsource some equipment needs. 

Strong candidates have/are able to:  

  • Associates Degree or program certificate in related field or 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record which meets Bernick’s standards (CDL preferred, but willing to train)
  • On-call availability
  • DOT inspection certification preferred, but willing to train
  • Forklift, material handling, and warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive manner
  • Ability to read basic instructions and complete routine reports
  • Can prioritize work per business needs with little or no supervision.
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Ability to operate personal computer

HOURS: Full-Time (40 hours per week) 

  • Mon-Fri
  • 7-7:30am through 3:30-4pm
